Born from a live YouTube experiment in creative chaos, Gertrudes1981 is a vintage-inspired restaurant brand built entirely from scratch using random generators and curated assets from illustrators, typographers, and photographers across the web. The result? A moody, refined brand identity that evokes the elegance of 1940s fine dining when dinner was a scorching event.

Designed live for a YouTube audience, the project is meant to celebrate spontaneity, collaboration, and the golden age of steakhouse glamour.
